Running

running

It’s simple enough to go for a run in Edmonton - just head out the door! You can run along any sidewalk for kilometres, and as long as you’re careful crossing the street, there’s not going to be any problems.

Of course, if you want to switch your routine up a bit, there are plenty of park trails, which are just as safe as running on the street as long as you share with cyclists, inline skaters, horses, and whoever else might be on them.

It’s always safer to go with a friend, just in case.

If it’s just plain too cold to run outside, then you can find indoor running tracks at the Kinsmen Sports Centre or find a treadmill at some of the other rec centres.

It’s OK. It’s Edmonton. We know.
