Lost or Injured Animals
What do you do when your pet is lost? There are quite a few ways to reunite with your dog, cat, or other animal.
First, you should search your neighbourhood. You should also call The City of Edmonton’s Animal Services at 780-496-8860 and the Edmonton Emergency Veterinary Clinic at 780-433-9505.
Animal Services also posts lost and found pets on the Petlynx system, which you should check daily. The website also has some helpful tips on how to find your pet.
In Edmonton, you are required to license dogs and cats. If your pet gets lost, licensing makes it easier to send them home.
