Make a DifferenceYouth aged 13-23 years old who want to make a difference in Edmonton, are invited to apply to be a General Assembly Delegate for the City of Edmonton Youth Council for the 2010/2011 term. The Youth Council has monthly meetings to learn about projects and plans of the city government and to discuss the youth perspective on these issues ensuring the voices of young Edmontonians are heard. Other working committees organize projects, events, and ideas to make a positive impact on the issues youth believe are important. Email us if you have questions or would like recruitment posters to display at your school, organization, or office. |

Even if you are too young to vote, you can still make a difference in city politics. The Edmonton Youth Council advises City Council on issues that affect you. Members are between the ages of 13 and 23, from all areas of the city, who meet once a month.
It’s a great way to make your voice heard on issues that are important to you, and to learn how government works.
